Ashley, or "plushdog senior", is our favourite and nicest cutie. She has very lively and nice temperament, is always happy, wagging her tail and she gets along with other dogs fine. She's very obedient and does good at all kinds of activities, which didn't make my decision what we should be doing easy. She loves fetching and hunting in any form. At home, we don't even know about her, but outside, she turns into a "beast". Ashley passed earthdog exam on fox (with contact), has a coursing license, racing license and competes in agility in SA2. She also likes to play frisbee. With 12 years, she still didn't slow down.
At home, on our property, she is the main hunter. She always searches and destroys all vermin. She's usually very patient, which makes her successfull. They're an excellent vermin destruction team with her daughter Banshee.
For her time, Ashley is also very nicely built, she did very well especially with specialist judges - in competition of about 100 russells, she got 2x BIS, 1x res.BIS (beaten by her mother) and did always very well in her class at any speciality show. She's being shown in veteran class currently.
People who don't know her usually think that she's a puppy - so small and always happy - and are very surprised when I tell them that she's in retirement age :)
Ashley gave us 3 very nice litters and we kept 2 girls out of them: Banshee (born 2006) and Evie (born 2010). We also have 2 of her granddaughters: Destiny (2009) and Gillian (2013). She's in the pedigree of every terrier of our kennel and I hope she will spend many more years with us.
